Pastor Kent will bring the Word to us this morning. In the epistle of 1 John, John gives us a spiritual reality check. He sweeps away all the philosophic, cultural baggage that clutters up our faith and calls us to obedience to a biblical gospel. You may ask, “what cultural ideas could possibly impact my faith and obedience to the gospel?” 1 John 1:1-4 gives us the answer to this question. It is this question that we will apply our minds to this morning.
